1. Service description

LumaVista provides AI-powered research automation tools. You submit research questions, and our AI agents plan, search, and synthesize information into structured reports with citations.

2. Beta disclaimer

LumaVista is currently in private beta. The service is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind. Features, pricing, and availability may change without notice. We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy of AI-generated content, or completeness of research results during the beta period.

3. Account and access

You must register an account to use LumaVista. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Minimum age

LumaVista is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older. The service is not directed at, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. By registering an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If we learn that an account has been created by someone under 18, we may suspend or terminate it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use LumaVista to:

  • Conduct research for illegal purposes or to facilitate illegal activity.
  • Generate content that is defamatory, harassing, or violates the rights of others.
  • Attempt to abuse, overload, or exploit the AI agents or system infrastructure.
  • Circumvent security measures, content filters, or usage limits.
  • Resell or redistribute the service without authorization.

6. Intellectual property

Your content: You own all research outputs generated through your use of LumaVista. We do not claim ownership of your research queries or generated reports.

Our service: The LumaVista platform, including its software, design, and documentation, is our intellectual property and is protected by applicable laws.

7. AI-generated content

Reports generated by LumaVista are produced by AI agents and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all generated content before relying on it for decisions. LumaVista is a research tool, not a substitute for professional advice.

8. Payments and Merchant of Record

For individual (B2C) plans, purchases are processed by our Merchant of Record, Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the reseller and seller of record for those transactions. Polar handles payment processing, billing, and any applicable sales tax/VAT; your payment is a transaction with Polar under its terms, and your card details are held by Polar, not by LumaVista. Refunds and billing questions for B2C purchases are handled through Polar.

Enterprise customers contract with, and are invoiced directly by, LUMAVISTA AI, S.L. — Polar is not involved in the enterprise channel.

9. Liability limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LumaVista shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, with jurisdiction in the Canary Islands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
